In a post shared to Reddit'sMade Me Smileforum, the anonymous woman wrote, "Accidentally said 'Love you!' at the end of a call with an important client yesterday. I heard him giggle as I hung up, and I was mortified." But one day later, she opened her email to see a response from him. "Hey- Just wanted to say that I didn't mean to laugh at you when you accidentally signed off on our call with a 'love you.' I just found it funny because I've definitely done that before, and I know it happens," he wrote. He continued: "I'm glad you have enough love in your life that that response comes naturally. If anything, you should be proud of that." In the comments, the woman further detailed the incident, writing that she works from home, and that the last person she had spoken with prior to the call was her husband, adding, "It had also been a long day." But the kind response, she added, made her feel more at ease. "It really warmed my heart, and honestly made me realize how lucky I am that I get to say those words to so many people, and hear them back," she wrote in the comments.
