Johnson said that she would "love" to get a football player for a partner — they do have a really good history on the show — and she has one in mind that she keeps talking to production about: retired Philadelphia Eagles centerJason Kelce. Who wants to see that? Because we bet that at some point,Taylor SwiftandTravis Kelce, Jason's younger brother, would show up to cheer Jason on. "I have not had a football player, and I think that they're just so incredible on the show," said Johnson. "They understand that work ethic and the time and effort that goes into being great. So I think they always do really well on the show. I haven't had one of those yet. Jason Kelce, I just keep throwing his name out because I think he would be so fun." I think he would be down to rip off his shirt," she added with a laugh. "I would just be down for a really fun person who is just down for the experience. It's ballroom dancing, it's not that serious at the end of the day, so I think he would have such great energy." Twenty-four NFL players have competed 25 times onDancing With the Stars—Emmitt Smithdid it twice — and they have finished at an average position of 5th place. Four NFL stars have won — Smith,Donald Driver,Rashad JenningsandHines Ward— and six others have finished in second or third place, so Johnson would probably be a heavy favorite with an NFL player, especially one with Kelce's popularity (and by extension, his brother's girlfriend's popularity).
