When Combs saw emails between Cassie and Combs' former assistantCapricorn Clarkabout bringing a toiletry bag to Mescudi's house, Ventura Fine said Combs got angry and lunged at her with a wine bottle opener between his fingers. The opener didn't hit her and she ran off. Ventura Fine later went to Combs' house to resolve things. She testified that he was "irate" and threatened to release "freak-off" videos of her. He also kicked her in the back on her way out, leaving a bruise. Ventura Fine later sent an email to her mother and Clark, saying Combs threatened to release two "explicit sex tapes" of her. She said Combs also told her he would have someone else physically hurt both her and Mescudi while he was out of the country.
