Social media personality Alix Earle will compete on Season 34 of "Dancing With the Stars." Earle, 24, is one of the leading social media personalities with more than 7 million followers on TikTok and 4 million on Instagram. She created the "Hot Mess" podcast in 2023, originally part of Alex Cooper's Unwell Network; they parted waysearlier this year. Earle first rose to fame with her "get ready with me" videos and has since landed spots on Forbes' Top Creators and Fashion 50 lists. Last month, ABC announcedwildlife conservationist Robert Irwin will dancefor the mirrorball trophy as well. Their professional dance partners and the rest of the cast will be announced at a later date. Season 33 of "Dancing With the Stars"came out on top in the end, with the finale scoring its best ratings in three years, averaging nearly 8 million viewers and a 1.55 rating with adults 18-49. The earned 7.95 million total viewers, up 25% over its live+same day number and up 36% over its adults 18-49 average. Throughout the season, multiple voting records were broken; on the finale, 32 million votes were cast for the final teams. "Dancing With the Stars" will air in the fall on ABC and Disney+ and will stream the next day on Hulu. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are set to return as cohosts while the main three judges are Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Julianne recently responded to Irwin's casting,tellingVariety, "If he's anything like his sister Bindi, who was an absolute gem, then he's going to be incredible.
