Actress Colby Muhammad, who plays Kat Richardson on the hit CBS soap opera Beyond the Gates, took to social media to answer the age-old question: "What is it like being a soap opera actor?" The actress shared a video on her Instagram, captioning the video "It's a lot of work but it's sooo fulfilling. I never thought in a million years I'd be able to do this! But somehow I manage to learn all of it. The actress explains that a feature film, for context, is on average 90 pages. This means for comparison she filmed the equivalent of nearly two feature films' worth of material, assuming she was in every scene. An astonishing feat. Her costars quickly came to the comment section to share their support.
